Maria Alindato-Castro

I went to Hunter College from 1979-1982, I majored in Fine Arts and Art History. I later decided to go to The Center for Media Arts and studied Advertising and television art. There I met a teacher named Janine who asked me to be her assistance in a movie she was working as an art director. I realized that I wanted to go towards the direction of filmmaking because I was able to use every art form I learned. My favorite art forms are photography and paintings and my medium in paintings are acrylic, watercolors, and pastel. Photography is my most precious art form, which I love creating photos that impart strong emotions. Ii will be an honor to present my photos and art for people to enjoy.
